President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in for his second term on January 20, making history as the second individual to serve non-consecutive terms as president.

She described the presidency as "the world's loneliest position," highlighting the weight of daily decisions and the transactional nature of relationships that come with the role.

"It’s a very lonely perch," Ivanka explained. "During the first four years, I often thought about how isolating it was for him. Now, with some distance, I’m looking forward to being there for him, not as an adviser but as his daughter. Whether it’s watching a movie, a sports game, or just helping him relax, I want to provide a space where he can truly be himself."

Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, who also served as a senior adviser during Trump’s first term, was a source of controversy at the time.

However, Ivanka’s focus now is solely on supporting her father as he takes on the challenges of the presidency once again.

Donald Trump’s return to the White House comes as the nation faces significant challenges, including foreign wars, inflation, immigration issues, and ongoing tensions with China. With the Republican Party regaining control of Congress and the presidency, sweeping policy changes are anticipated.

The Trump family has also faced serious challenges since leaving office in 2021, including legal indictments and even assassination attempts. Despite these hurdles, Ivanka expressed optimism for her father’s political comeback and the country’s future.

Ivanka acknowledged the sentiment, expressing hope for her father’s ability to address the issues that dominated the 2024 election cycle, including the economy, foreign affairs, and immigration reform.
